The second generation of the Skoda Kodiaq SUV is now available in the RS version, which means more power and lots of sporty details.
Compared to the previous generation, the new Skoda Kodiaq RS is even sportier thanks to design and technical improvements. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter TSI EVO gasoline engine, which develops 265 hp and 400 Nm of torque, which is 20 hp more than its predecessor.

As a result, the new Kodiaq RS with DSG automatic transmission and four-wheel drive accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 231 km/h.
Skoda says that handling is improved because the new Kodiaq RS has progressive steering, as well as an advanced DCC+ adaptive suspension with a wider range of settings compared to the first generation.
In addition to Sport mode, the driver can choose different suspension and handling settings, namely Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual and Snow. Kodiaq RS also has a special off-road mode.
The sporty spirit of the SUV is evident in other areas as well. The Dynamic Sound Boost function provides a special sound experience, and specialists from Skoda Design have also worked on the appearance of the car.
The second generation Kodiaq RS has all the typical glossy black RS elements such as the radiator grille frame, side mirrors, upper part of the window frame, roof racks and distinctive D-pillars that are characteristic of the second generation Kodiaq.
The new front bumper and Skoda logo on the tailgate are also in gloss black.
The illuminated radiator grill is a nice detail, but the Kodiaq RS also got new RS logos for this element, as well as on the tailgate.
The RS version comes with exclusive 20-inch Elias wheels as standard and in gloss black. The red brake calipers create a nice contrast.
Buyers can choose from eight body colors, including the beautiful Bronx Gold Metallic.
In the interior, it is possible to choose between two options. The standard equipment package is the RS Suedia, while there is also the RS Suite version.
In both versions, customers get sporty front seats with integrated headrests in contrasting red thread. The Suedia package includes upholstery made of perforated Suedia material and artificial leather, while the RS Suite brings natural leather. The dashboard and door panels are covered with the appropriate material for each variant.
Sports details include a three-spoke steering wheel with red thread, steel pedals and a black roof. The RS logo is also present in the interior, and even the infotainment screen contains it.
The second generation Kodiaq RS is well equipped. A 10-inch virtual cockpit is standard, while the size of the infotainment screen is 13 inches. The sports seats in both variants have electronic controls, while the functions of heating, memory and ventilation are on the list of features of the RS Suite seats. The rear seats also have heaters. As for the sound system, there is a top-notch Canton system.
Advanced features such as the KESSY Advanced system, which automatically unlocks and locks the doors when the driver approaches or leaves the car, are standard equipment. Matrix LED headlights greet the driver with light animations when the car is unlocked. DCC+ Adaptive Chassis Control is another feature that future buyers will appreciate.
