Electric cars have been on the market for more than ten years, and over time they have advanced so that their range is equal to that of “SUS” cars with a full tank.
The British newspaper “Daily Mail” made a list of electric cars with the longest range on the European market, according to their tests, not according to “WLTP” data.
Top 5 longest range electric cars in Europe
Peugeot E-3008 – range of 591 km
To begin with, a version with 210 horsepower and a battery with a capacity of 73 kWh is planned, which is enough for an autonomy of 591 km on a single charge. After that, the “Long range” version with 230 horsepower and a 98 kWh battery will arrive.
Volkswagen ID. 7 – 593 km
The entry-level version, the “Pro”, comes with a 77 kWh battery, but if you upgrade to the soon-to-be-released “Pro S” version, you’ll get an 84 kWh battery and longer range.
Tesla Model 3 – 593 km
The Tesla Model 3 and VW ID. 7 actually share third place, in this case it’s the September 2023 Model 3, which has a number of improvements and a long-range variant.
Polestar 3 – 596 km
It is a luxury SUV of the Swedish car brand with the second longest range on the European market at the moment, whose “Long Range” version has 299 horsepower.
Mercedes EQS – 654 km
First on this list is the electric leader of “Mercedes” – it is the “brother” of the S-class, and the long range is due to the large battery with a capacity of 108 kWh.
