In the Italian company, they used Maserati’s Shamal Biturbo model as the basis of the restomod project, for which a small number of enthusiasts will have to spend a considerable amount of money.

In the Italian company Modena Automobili, which consists of a select group of engineers, designers, racers, enthusiasts and entrepreneurs, for the restomod project they chose a rather rare Shamal model from the nineties, signed by the famous designer Marcello Gandini, and Maserati made only 369 copies.

For now, it is known that the restomod edition of the Shamal model, instead of the original 3.2-liter V8 biturbo engine (326 HP), will bring with it a three-liter V6 biturbo engine “borrowed” from the Ghibli model, which will have at least 500 horsepower instead of the standard 430.

ZF’s 8-speed automatic transmission is responsible for transmitting power to the rear axle, and behind the new and lighter 18-inch rims are Brembo brakes with discs with a diameter of 343/330 millimeters (front/rear) and suspension elements in the spirit of today’s times.

In the spirit of today’s time, there are also attractive housings of LED lights, and it has not yet been revealed what the interior of the car will look like. to the original Shamal.

Modena Automobili will make the restomod Shamal in only 33 copies, which will be offered with many personalization options. The first deliveries are planned for the spring of next year, and the initial price is slightly more than 590,000 euros.
